This homepage contains news about the Flatcoated Retriever Berena's Black Magic , also called Chivas. Chivas is from a breeder on the Norwegian west coast, Kennel Berena.

During the past years we have tested different activities and finally decided we enjoy the retrieve the most.
Our time is now spent training with the goal of participating in Field Trials in 2008. During the summer 2007 Chivas was approved for participating in Field Trials in Norway (a test all retrievers must pass to be able to start FT).

April 27th: Tiril from Litter 2 became BOB and BIS 2 at her debut in Fosen.Judge Hannele Jokkisilta. Congratulations to Guri and Tiril!

April 6th: Chan from Litter 2 became BOB at his debut in Mjøndalen. Congratulations to Hilde and Chan!

March 20th: Lotta whelped 7 healthy puppies at Kennel Aldaggas The result were 4 liver dogs , and 3 cute black bitches.

February 25th: Chivas was placed 8th on the Top Ten winning Show dogs 2007- the Shimmy List, 2nd year in a row.

February 8th: Chivas 5 years old today!
